With a 32 mm diameter magnetic face, the magnet can support up to 40 kg vertically when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness. The neodymium magnet is encased in a steel pot, concentrating the magnetic field and significantly increasing the adhesive force relative to its size. A Teflon coating improves durability and corrosion resistance in demanding environments.
