Professional Subsea Magnets for Commercial Diving Operations
Diving Magnets (Pty) Ltd is a South African manufacturer of professional-grade N42–N48 neodymium subsea magnets, founded in 2015 by commercial diving professionals in Gordon's Bay, South Africa. In our Diver Magnets the magnet is sealed in epoxy and HDPE inside a plated steel pot — built for saltwater and deep subsea work, where standard Ni-Cu-Ni coatings fail. Trusted by commercial diving contractors, offshore inspection teams and marine service providers across 40+ countries, our magnets are proven in service to 150 m and built for the demands of professional subsea operations.
Founded in 2015. Our founder brings over 20 years of professional diving experience, including more than 14 years offshore and in saturation diving.
Our Diver Magnets range uses a proprietary Epoxy-HDPE coating system, developed specifically to withstand aggressive saltwater environments, resist corrosion and extend product lifespan underwater. Our Pot and Hook Magnets use a standard nickel-copper-nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) plating, suited to general and dry applications rather than prolonged saltwater exposure.
